The Grounds
The stunning grounds of this dream venue offer rural, idyllic bliss in all its glory.
Enter through an open courtyard, laid to heritage stone, and take in the delights of the pretty cottage garden with perfectly manicured topiary that surround the picture post card main house.
Step a little further to discover arched rose arbors, laden with clematis, and secret doors guiding you through the wonders of wide open lawns, meadows and pretty hedgerows that lay beyond. Lose yourself in the woodland along the secret path and delight in the beauty of the flowing stream framing the grounds so beautifully. You could almost be fooled into thinking you’re on a magical adventure with Alice and her friends in Wonderland.
Why the fairground?
Why not! The fairground started with a small number of vintage rides which has steadily grown to the largest private fairground in the UK.
We grew the fairground because our wedding couples absolutely loved the different experience it bought to their wedding day. The pictures were amazing with the addition of the rides and our guests absolutely raved about them. Truly a unique wedding to remember.
The History
Once home to the legendary singer, actress and cabaret star, Eartha Kitt, Marleybrook House was used at this time as a country retreat to kick back with many well known names within the entertainment business. Having changed hands with a number of influential people within the television industry, the present family were lucky to acquire this beautiful home in 2006. Marleybrook House opened its doors in 2013 to weddings and events thus entertaining guests once again! We are now pleased to be reaching beyond these inner circles by making this magical place accessible to all.
